Concert tonight

Well, we sounded a lot better than I thought we would. maybe the difference in room dynamics? Or did everyone go home this week and practice?

Is it me, or should we run through the "old stand-by" pieces (like the Sousa Marches) so people who are new and/or playing a different instrument know how we sound when playing with the rest of the band? My apoligies to the piccolos for the loudness of the Alto Clarinet during your feature part in Stars and Stripes.

I posted yesterday

Dan, look under your one entry that has two messages on it. I posted Friday afternoon, but I couldn't figure out how to do my own message. and all woodwind players (or reed instruments anyway) I'll repost my question: What's the difference between an Alto Sax reed and an Alto Clarinet reed? They look the same to me!
